In the design process,
we have road tested and modified our bibs through several generations
to fit the conditions. To make sure there are no annoying air leaks,
we've snowmobiled at 20 degrees below zero (you find cold spots
very quickly this way). While on the road, we check for excessive
wind flap at high speeds (Dan likes to cruise at 80mph). Primary
consideration in the design of this product: comfortable fit while
in riding position and durability over the long haul. This criteria
insures functional styling in a product that looks as great as it
is efficient.
The excellent breathing
and insulating properties of our leather accounts for our bibs'
versatility in a wide range of riding conditions. They're comfortable
while you're moving down the road on 75 degree days or over jeans
or long johns for those 30 degree nights. Our bibs are made
of soft 2.5 to 3.5 ounce chrome tanned domestic cow hides
for the best protection and flexibility. This leather is considered
competition weight for motorcycle racing. Black
is the standard color but other colors are available as an
option. We design and manufacture the solid brass hardware for the
straps. Side zippers are also the best YKK #10, solid brass. The
full bib to boot lining assures comfort against bare skin as well
as ease in sliding them over clothing.
